IOTA NA-242 is located in the far Western part of the North Slope of Alaska. We greatly appreciate receiving permission from President Ferreira and the Council at the Inupiat Village of Point Lay, Alaska, to conduct this IOTA expedition from the offshore barrier Island (and original site of Point Lay).

Point Lay has a very inspirational story as chronicled in a two-part video series which I hope you will enjoy watching as much as I did. It has been great to speak with some of the local villagers by phone who I saw in the videos (and many others), and look forward to meeting them all in person during our trip!
