Our Hard Working QSL Manager
![]() Thanks to our generous, supportive Sponsors, fundraising Raffle prizes thus far are:
The cost of this NA-178 activation may run as high as $10,000 (U.S. Funds) due to the necessity of helicopter transportation for all aspects of the Cooperative Work Agreement with the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service. In order to assist our fundraising, for each $20 (or more) increment donation (whether in advance or with a QSL card), your callsign will go onto a special NA-178 Raffle slip. This means a donation of $40 will yield TWO Raffle slips, $100 yields FIVE Raffle slips, etc. Advance Donations can be conveniently made via PayPal (see below). At the end of our planned NA-178 trip presentation at the IOTA Dinner during the annual Visalia DX Convention on 4/21/06, we will have the raffle drawing for all donated prizes. Winners need not be present, as we will ship to out-of-area prize winners. (Duty may apply to International shipments on the recipient's end however, and will be the responsiblity of the winner). Some prizes may be downloadable via the Internet. Raffle participants must be at least 21 years of age. NOTE: For donations to qualify for any Raffle slip(s), they MUST BE RECEIVED NO LATER THAN 3/31/06 (whether via mail with or without QSLs, PayPal, Pony Express or any other means). This is necessary to insure accurate and complete administrative processing *before* Visalia. We may, or may not, offer additional Raffle slip(s) for direct purchase at the IOTA dinner. Unfortunately, donations are NOT tax-deductible (we hope the NA-178 Raffle will help mitigate this). Raffle Winner Callsigns will be posted on our website after the Visalia Convention.
